Not Very Good At This

i think of this blog often, but i never seem to get around to actually posting!! lots of times i think, oh, i'll just post about what is going on in my life right now and how i feel about things...
if i did that, all it would be is me complaining about this thing or another, so i am going to follow along in the footsteps of someone i admire. her name is shawn. some of us scrappers know her as auntiepea. well, anyway, she had an excellent idea of telling us about something she is thankful for each day and i want to give it a shot. i think i need to try, anyway. so here goes...
i actually want to mention two things today. last night i hired a baby sitter and went out with my dear friend Marta. i needed a break so she came over in her new racy car and took me out. i just have to say this one thing- i LOVE her new car- well actually it's her husband's. he's a stunt man and he's off doing a movie so while the cat's away.....it's a 2005 mustang. i love the new style and was not at all surprised to see that the inside looks just as smooth as the outside! we had a great time. marta is always a joy to be around and i just love her to death.
jay is on his way home from his business trip and i am soooooooo thankful for that!! the kids and i have been running around trying to pick up the house so it will look decent for him when he comes home. he likes coming home to a clean semi-peaceful house, it helps him to relax and he's not yelling at the kids to pick up after themselves...this way everybody is happier!
