we made it home safe and sound from my inlaws. jay and i drove separate cars, which made the trip interesting becuz it was a race to see who could get to our destination first. on the way there i was 45 mins ahead, and i beat him home by 2 mins!!! it was fun, but i don't want to do it again...
so my meeting with dianne never happened. we totally forgot about sunday being father's day! there will be other opportunities to get together i'm sure, but i was just so bummed, ya know?
the kid's curriculums arrived last week and they couldn't wait to get started on their work...just like their dad- always gotta be doing something, unlike me, they don't know how to just kick back and do NOTHING!!! well, i'm not ready to jump back into schoolwork, that's for sure!
i was in michael's craft store over the weekend, and it was just the coolest thing to see the memory makers magazine and think to myself, "hey, my work is in that magazine. something I made!" good thing the magazine has a plastic covering on it, or else i would have been tempted to show the cashier!!! i know it's not cool to brag, but it's just the greatest feeling, and i'm kinda proud of myself!!! just between us- i keep a 6x6 album of my layouts with me in my car, just in case i find someone i can show it to!!! i had it with me when i went to the doctors office for my thyroid issue. he was so nice about it! lol btw, i don't have cancer. when he had my blood tested a couple of months ago, the results showed that i had a high amount of protein in my blood, so he had me go back and test again not telling me that he was testing me to see if i had myeloma http://www.cancerbacup.org.uk/Cancertype/Myeloma/General/Whatismyeloma
(sorry, i couldn't shorten that) those results didn't tell him what caused the high protein level, but it did tell him that i don't have multiple myeloma. very thankful for that!
