i got my shopping done! jay did not have karate class tonight so i seized my opportunity and grabbed carter and went for it. i got the kid's shopping done, a fete that almost went undone. at 8pm carter falls asleep in the car on the way to get the last gift. do i take him home? can i finish this another day, it's just one more thing, and it has been quite tiring for the poor boy, being dragged from store to store. i really felt bad for him as he was sooooo tired. but the thought of not completing my task and having to go out on another day won out and i kept going.
now i don't have to worry about it anymore. oh, and carter went right to sleep in his bed once we got home.
i made more cookies today. jay wanted more gingersnaps and i wanted some snickerdoodles so i made several dozens of both. what kind shall we make tomorrow?

I'm jealous! I wish I were done, but I'm sure I'll be out on the 23rd doing my last minute shopping. We start our celebrating on the 24th.
