A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That...

here's my mess. my shelves and baskets filled with papers and junk...let's see if i can post a neater pic at the end of the weekend! jenn, please come over and decorate my house! you can see some of jay's luggage by the bench there. he left for hawaii this morning...waaaaah! i sooooo wanted to go! he called me once he got to li'hue and told me it just felt funny to him, it wasn't the same my not being there with him. the other two times he has been there i was with him, but this time i was on the other end of the phone. he says his condo is nice and big, way too much room for him ( his job always hooked us up with nice accomodations) and he can see the water from the terrace- yes, by this time i am in tears. the next time he called he was at my all time favorite place to eat in the world- puka dog! what is a puka dog? well, "puka" is the hawaiian word for "hole" and it is basically a polish sausage in a roll with a hole in it... it's kinda hard to describe, you kinda have to see it yourself, and also, while it is not very attractive looking it is very yummy to me! but jay doesn't care for them, but ate one for me today. what a thoughtful husband he is...
