I am in TOTAL agreement with your questions. I LOVE to look at these pantries... but they are just not practical for my family. Could my pantry be better organized? DEFINITELY. But it will NEVER look like those!

Oh, and I think I love this paint in my bathroom. Let's hope I still like it once the whole room is done that way. :)

I wonder about that too when I look at the pictures. My food is not nearly so pretty.

I am no saint, I am not better than anyone, I need more hours in the day like most.....so don't take my comment the wrong way. I love you and your family...and love your blog.

I do not have boxes of macaroni and cheese. I fear it has too must sodium, if I want to make mac and cheese I boil the noodles add the cheese and a little seasonings.

I don't have little debbie snacks, I'm over weight to begin with (doing weight watchers to correct that), my husband has diabetes, and I try disparately to make little cakes or or cookies on the weekend for the family to snack on. Monday I made black bean brownies, my daughter had one for breakfast, she must have thought her mother had gone crazy when she asked for one and I said yes!!! But all that aside I bought oreos last night. I don't often crave them, maybe once a year, and I figured all things in moderation.

The trader joe peanut butter and reduced sugar jelly is in the fridge.

And while I still have canned goods on the shelf I am disparately trying to finish them all up to get rid of the sodium that in those cans and just buy fresh even if it goes bad before I can use it. In my head I see Gillian from the biggest loser coming into my house and with one fell swoop wiping all my can goods into the trash and telling me they are bad!!! LOL Which I know they are!!! LOL

And on that note I'm done. Hmmm as I leave, I don't think i've ever seen a real black bean that wasn't in a can!! LOL

I pray I didn't come off the wrong way that was NOT my intention at all.

P.s. My pantry does NOT look that either but my shelves in the basement kind of do...I'll take a picture one day!!!
