how is it that a child can hear a wrapper from the opposite end of the house? especially if it is a candy wrapper!!! i waited until everyone was in bed to open up my little snicker bar, and i'll be darned if two little munchkins didn't come tiptoeing in here to see what i had!

going to bed now to read some more of messy spirituality...

I've fallen so far behind on your blog. I had been checking it for awhile there but it was pretty quiet and now it seems like I missed a month! LOL So how far are ya in the messy spirituality book? I'm only through chapter 2 so I've got alot of reading to do before the end of the week since my goal was to finish it. Seems like you've been doing great on being disciplined about your computer time. I cracked up when I read your post about signing off and to yell at you if anyone sees you on in 5 minutes. LOL Hope I can catch ya on here soon though. Wonderin' how things are going with your dad and your travel plans. Hope you're having a good afternoon away from the computer. :)

LOL My nearly 3 y.o. hears me rattle the m&m bag and comes running from anywhere in the house shouting "CANDY?!?" :) At least we know their hearing is okay.

I think it is a scientific fact that all children's ears are trained to the precise resonant frequency of ALL candy wrappers AND cookie jar lids. (Yes, I said resonant frequency - a big word I learned from my hubby the sound guy :-)

hahahaha This sure made me chuckle! It's the same way here 'cept with dawgs. It's getting to be that a person can't even sneak a cracker without feeling the hot breath of three moochers on the backs of your legs. hahaha
