sick...

not much to post here. some of us are sick, or was sick until this morning. i came home from my bible study to do my crop/chat at sbb and carter is screaming his little head off. i thought it was because he is breaking in a couple of new teeth, so i gave eventually gave him some tylenol and put him to bed. he slept until about 3am when i heard him whimpering so i went into his room. he sat up and threw up. poor kid. he just wanted to go right back to sleep so i cleaned him up and his bed, but i put him in deacon's bed and put deacon in bed with me, just in case he threw up again. he slept again until about 7am, then had a bout with diarrhea and threw up again. i called the drs. office, yes, they are open on saturdays til noon, and they got him in. the dr. confirmed he had the stomach flu and pretty much gave the rest of the same diagnosis, said it was just a matter of time- thanks! shortly leaving his office i began to not feel so hot myself. by the time i got home it was evident i had it too.
body aches, chills, tummy ache...ugh! by nightfall, drew fell to it, throwing up as well. before midnight, i awoke to devyn crying hysterically because her head and tummy hurt. fortunately, the three of us were all feeling a bit better by today, but carter still has his diarrhea and i had thought he was over his throwing up, but he just did it again tonight so i guess his is just going a little longer. the rest of the family show no signs of it at all. that's a blessing. i guess i should go get some more rest.. it is actually 11pm, although my blog here says it's much earlier, cause that's when i started typing...i gotta early crop tomorrow!
