my last post was just down right discouraging... so i have decided to make some changes. only one thing at a time- baby steps, as flylady would say. i know i sure do know a lot about flylady, but i am not embracing her whole system...it overwhelms me and i am not ready. someday i hope to fly, but not just yet.
i changed 1 thing. when i get up, everyone gets up. i have been making it a point to get up by 7, and i am hoping to push it back to 6:30 for myself eventually. i also need to do something about the staying up all night thing. that will be hard as that is the only quiet time i get to myself. it is my little treat to stay up after everyone is in bed and endulge in a little sweet (or yummy anyway) snack. it is also when my friends are online to chat with. it is the time when i am most creative -which does not say a whole lot since i have had very little creativity lately, but you get my point.
it's me time. i guess i really don't need to stay up til 3am, it's just that amidst the chattin', scrappin', surfin' and bloggin' before i know it, it's already past 2! yes! i can hear you asking me what time i actually am on to begin with! although my computer stays on all day during the day, i am off and on it and truly on with no interruptions about 10pm. little ones in bed by 8, and the older kids around 9-9:30 and i am finishing up laundry or the kitchen or whatever needs doing before i can get on the computer with a clear conscience.

I hear ya! Why do you think I'm always up so late with you? LOL! It's hard to give away your "me time" I hate to give it up, and go to bed, and stare at the ceiling until around 6am when I finally fall asleep! THEN the alarm goes off at 7! GRRR!!!! It's hard to be on the opposite time clock of the rest of the world! I've had this all my life, so you're not alone! Love ya, hang in there!
I do the SAME thing too! I stay up so late because it's my "me time" but then I pay for it when I am dragging in the morning. :( Hope you find some balance soon!
