Hello...Christmas calling!!!

for some reason, this morning was the day that i woke up and realized that Thanksgiving is only a couple of weeks (or less) away, and it is at MY house this year! i'm not ready for this, i've never even cooked a turkey! oh wait! this also means that Christmas is right on my heels!! i haven't even started the shopping i told myself (last year) i was going to do before december! so this will just make for another holiday season that i am stressed out and buying presents at the last minute. last year was awful. i was ripping and running the whole month of december and i didn't get to enjoy it at all. i had no joy in my heart, i was bitter and resentful, and lost everything in the shuffle. i didn't send out cards, i didn't create, i didn't bake, i didn't sing, and i didn't remember Jesus. if i don't get myself organized right now, Christmas will come and go and i will have missed it yet again...
