sorry about that last post, as most of you know i rarely state an opinion unless i am asked, but this is my blog right? and, though i have said that i would not post my political views here, this is something that has just bothered me all weekend and needed to get it off my chest...
we made it home from a last minute decision to visit grandma this weekend. we literally woke up saturday morning and jay said "is everyone feeling ok? let's pack up for grandma's" and we had an hour to get ready!! grandma only lives 3 hours away, but packing for 7 people is no picnic. i hate rushing like that, i always feel like i'm forgetting something, we do roll call in the car to make sure i didn't forget someone! (i did let jay know that for future reference this is something i don't really care for) we had a good time at grandma's, a second thanksgiving, and a little vacay for jay. we did not get to set up the tree as i had planned for this weekend, but will start the decorating today instead- i can't wait to get out my favorite musical figurine, a nativity that plays 'o holy night' which is my favorite christmas song.
i haven't even started my shopping yet, no clue what to get jay...
drew wants lego sets
camryn wants an art set, or an american doll
devyn wants a doll stroller, or some mechanical puppy that obeys her instructions? (funny, she is terrified of dogs!)
keith wants anything spiderman
deacon wants anything bob the builder
carter, well, i don't know yet but he's only one so i don't think he will really care.
i get to buy a new dress!! a dressy dress too! the new company that jay is working for puts on a christmas party every year and we are going this weekend. i still need to get a sitter, get my hair done, and buy a dress, shoes, and possibly a purse too! i am very excited, can you tell?

I get to go shopping for me too, lol! Our company dinner is coming up and I have nothing that fits right, therefore, a new dress in in order don't ya think, lol! That reminds me I need to get my eyebrows waxed too.
I've totally stayed away from news of any sort for the past few months. It was really getting me upset/depressed and I just can't handle that right now. I know, probably a wimp's way out, but I can only take so much of our world these days.
Oh my... last minute packing for 7! I'd flip. I'd probably refuse to go. LOL I'm glad you had a nice getaway though. Have fun shopping!
