glad to be back. back in my house. i waited the whole hour drive long to get home from the airport to dive into jay's arms to receive the biggest i missed you so much hug. and i gave one right back to him.
i became really sick after returning home. i don't know that it was just one thing, or a lot of little things like being tired, not eating and sleeping properly during the trip, and i also forgot to pack my thyroid medication, so i have been off of it for about 5 days, or the stress of what to do about schuyler, my oldest son. but enough of that-
my dad looks and sounds really good. he is incredibly chipper and in good spirits, but then again, i should not be surprised. alot of people have asked me if my dad is saved. he is. he knows the Lord and you can tell. his whole attitude about his whole ordeal is great and he is happy to be alive. he is eager to learn to walk and get around again and take care of himself. he will be fitted for a prosthetic leg soon, which he is excited about. he was glad to see me walk into his room, his whole face lit up! then he proceeded to pick up the phone and call everyone he could to tell them i was there. i am so glad i went.
now i gotta go and tackle laundry, shopping lists, and school work with the kids...
i just wanted to pop in and say hey!

I didn't know you went on a trip. I'm glad your father is in good spirits. I'm sure seeing you really helped him. I hope you're feeling better. Take care of yourself my sweet friend!
How sweet to read about your reunion with Jay. And I'm so glad that your visit was a lift for your Dad. Welcome home!
