the love, that is. i sure felt it. i don't know what got into my little boys yesterday but i was given so many hugs and kisses and "i love you mommy" i was over the moon happy! my big boy, on the other hand is another story. typical teenage boy i guess. refusing to answer questions, getting defensive when i inquire about anything. hopefully my girls won't get that way.
i even got love from my husband, who doesn't do valentine's day. i was so not expecting anything from him this year. usually, i expect something and get nothing but disappointed. i usually get him a card anyway but this year i didn't. i guess in my old age i am starting to get over things like that. i still like playing it up for the kids though so i went out and bought myself a dozen red roses and treats for the kids.
and then what happens? i get this card:

and a box of chocolates.
i think i fainted a little bit.
he got me good. and i love it.
