like going on vacation! we usually go to lake isabella early in the summer but didn't get to so we are going to big bear this week. i wanted to do some home improvement stuff, painting the kitchen cabinets for one...i just got around to doing it yesterday so i'll be trying to finish that this month also. there are a few other things we didn't get around to but what we did make time for was ice cream.
after returning from big bear the mad rush to go shopping for school clothes and supplies will begin. on one hand, i feel like summer wasn't long enough. on the other hand, i think i will be fine with school starting up again (check with me again in a month on that one. i might have changed my mind!).

I found you! Would you believe that I haven't checked Bloglines since June?! It was so nice to spend some time reading and "catching up" with you! I never see you on Facebook. I miss you! I need to get back in the habit of blogging again. I have met so many wonderful friends, you included, through my blog, and I have been so neglectful.
So tell me, how did the kitchen cabinets turn out, and is your bathroom still pink? :)
